Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Maltese and Bichons have hair that keeps growing. A quick brush a few times a week, down to the skin, stops tangles before they turn into mats.

Keep the face clean

Long hair around the eyes and mouth catches food and tears. A soft wipe each day keeps the face neat until the next groom.

Book every 4 to 6 weeks

Coats that keep growing stay comfortable and easy to brush on a 4 to 6 week schedule. Smoother coats like Chihuahuas do well every 6 to 8 weeks.

How much does it cost to groom a small dog?

A full groom for a small dog starts at $80, and a bath and brush starts at $55. These prices are a starting estimate.

How often should a small dog be groomed?

It depends on the coat. Yorkies, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Poodles and Bichons have hair that keeps growing, so every 4 to 6 weeks keeps them comfortable and free of mats. Smoother coats like Chihuahuas do well every 6 to 8 weeks.

What is included in a small dog's full groom?

Two baths with top-tier shampoos, a custom cut from nose to butt, a full brush out, a hand blow-dry, nails trimmed and filed, ears cleaned, an anal gland check and free finishing touches.

Do you use cage dryers?

No. We don't own them. Your dog is hand dried while we brush, never shut in a hot dryer box.

Do you groom bigger dogs too?

Yes. A full groom starts at $100 for medium dogs, $130 for large dogs and $160 for extra large dogs.

Do you do breed cuts for Yorkies, Shih Tzus and Poodles?

Yes. Tell us the look you want, or ask for the breed cut, and we'll talk it through at drop-off. A photo of the look you like helps.

What is a puppy cut?

A short, even trim all over that is easy to keep. On Yorkies, Shih Tzus and Maltese it keeps the coat soft and tangle free between grooms.
