easy at home
Spaniel ears and armpits
Cocker and Springer coats tangle first in the ears and armpits. A few minutes there each week keeps the whole coat easy.
Double coats shed in seasons
Corgis, Shelties and Mini Aussies drop their undercoat with the seasons. A bath and a deep brush out moves the loose coat out fast.
Book on the coat's schedule
Cockers, Cockapoos, Poodles and terriers every 4 to 6 weeks. Double coats every 6 to 8 weeks. Short coats like French Bulldogs every 8 to 12 weeks.

Questions
questions
How much does it cost to groom a medium dog?
A full groom for a medium dog starts at $100, and a bath and brush starts at $70. These prices are a starting estimate.
How often should a medium dog be groomed?
It depends on the coat. Cockers, Cockapoos, Poodles and terriers do best every 4 to 6 weeks. Corgis, Shelties and other double coats every 6 to 8 weeks. Short coats like French Bulldogs every 8 to 12 weeks.
Should I shave my Corgi or Sheltie?
Usually not. A double coat helps protect a dog from sun, heat and cold, and a shave can change how it grows back. A bath, a deep brush out of the loose undercoat and a tidy trim usually keep them cooler and cleaner. We'll look at the coat with you and say what is right for your dog.
Do you use cage dryers?
No. We don't own them. Your dog is hand dried while we brush, never shut in a hot dryer box.
Do you groom smaller and bigger dogs too?
Yes. A full groom starts at $80 for small dogs, $130 for large dogs and $160 for extra large dogs.
Do you groom terriers in their breed cut?
Yes. Schnauzers, Westies, Wheatens and other terriers are regulars. Tell us the look you want, or ask for the breed cut, and we'll talk it through at drop-off.
How often should a Cocker Spaniel be groomed?
Every 4 to 6 weeks. The silky coat on the ears, chest and legs keeps growing, and the ears and armpits tangle first.
